XDP’s 2Man service offers a nationwide delivery service for larger, non-standard freight up to 150KG in weight, within 3-5 days*. With visibility from the moment your item enters the XDP network, right up until final mile delivery, XDP offer a flexible and agile 2Man delivery solution, resulting in complete customer piece of mind.
This service offering hosts an innovative routing platform via a centralised booking in system, monitored by a dedicated 2Man operational team, which streamlines the final mile delivery process to accommodate availability for your customers. Our 2Man offering includes a dedicated day of delivery, delivery to a room of choice** and regular customer communications. Our system ensures waiver forms are sent to all customers prior to delivery, enabling safeguarding and adhering to safety measures when entering the property.
When your freight is sent via our 2Man service, you and your customer will be able to view when items have been scanned throughout the network, including at the collection depot, delivery depot and once loaded to the delivery vehicle. This transparency enables you to manage customer expectations, and for them to capacity plan when anticipating a larger delivery.
Once routed out for delivery, your customers receive regular notifications and updates. Customers will receive a two-hour time slot, items can be traced with full driver tracking, and a ‘You Are Next’ notification will be sent via text message, email and the XDP app. Alongside this, drivers are able to phone the end user, using a proxy phone number, adding additional security, and adhering to GDPR regulations. Upon delivery, a driver and drivers’ mate will assist your customer in taking the item to a room of choice, or garden area, eliminating difficult manoeuvres for the end user.
Once final mile delivery has been completed, delivery confirmation will be visible to you and your customer, with photographic proof, ringfenced geo-location and the capability for our drivers to record any specific instructions given. Your customer will also receive aftercare communication, for any further delivery queries they may have. Our team are also available for any post-delivery queries if needed. From reporting data, through to live chat, our Final Mile Relationship Team and Account Managers, are there for you and your customer every step of the way.
In addition to our technology, our 2Man service benefits from XDP network’s manual sortation process. Operating a manual sortation process, enables us to be adaptable in carrying irregular dimension and weight (IDW) freight. With fewer touchpoints, and a versatile process, no matter the size and shape of your freight, our 2Man service can accommodate.
