Our 1Man service, offers a cost-effective, flexible delivery solution for your large and non-standard freight, carrying items up to 50KG in weight, and 3.2M in length.
XDP’s 1Man service, offers a nationwide delivery service for large and non-standard freight, up to 50KG in weight, in 1-3 days*. With visibility from the moment your item enters the XDP network, right up until final mile delivery, you can make sure your freight is delivered securely, in an efficient and timely manner.
When your freight is placed on our 1Man service, your item will then be scanned regularly throughout the process, ensuring you and your customers receive a completely transparent service. From collection depot to delivery depot, to delivery vehicle, your item is scanned, with location and time, enabling visibility and forward planning for your customer.
Once routed out for delivery, your customers receive regular notifications and updates. Customers will receive a two-hour time slot, items can be traced with full driver tracking, and a ‘You Are Next’ notification will be sent via text message, email and the XDP app, alongside this, drivers are able to phone the end user, using a proxy phone number, adding additional security, and adhering to GDPR regulations.
Once delivery has been completed, delivery confirmation will be visible to you and your customer, with photographic proof, ringfenced geo-location, and the capability for our drivers to record any specific instructions given. Our team are also available for any post-delivery queries if needed. From reporting data, through to live chat, our Final Mile Relationship Team and Account Managers, are there for you and your customer every step of the way.
In addition to our technology, our 1Man service benefits from the XDP network’s manual sortation process. Operating a manual sortation process, enables us to be adaptable in carrying irregular dimension and weight (IDW) freight. With fewer touchpoints, and a versatile process, whether your freight is large in size, long in length or a bulky parcel, our 1Man service can accommodate.

We offer a range of integration methods for our customers, and all are compatible with all major integration platforms.
Yes. We understand that at times you will send goods which are light in weight, but large in volume. Because of the amount of space these goods will take up, we use an industry standard conversion, based on the size of the goods to determine their volumetric weight.
Yes, we primarily deliver to B2C. However, we can accommodate B2B deliveries.
All customers will receive relevant contact details for our Final Mile Relationship Team and dedicated Account Managers, prior to onboarding with XDP.
Your customers will be able to contact our team via our live chat facility, or by emailing trackingupdates@xdp.co.uk.
You and your customer will be able to see a signature obtained via our driver, or through our contactless QR code, photographic proof of delivery, ringfenced geo-location (showing where the item has been delivered) and any voice recording instructions made at the point of delivery.
